We Ride Mountain Bikes at Night

last night my adventure racing team dart-nuun and i kicked off this winters wednesday night mountain bike rides. it's a free group ride in the seattle area. our awesome sponsor light and motion provides the bike lights for anyone and everyone to try and we just hit the trails.. at night! mountain biking in the dark on singletrack in adventure races and 24 hour mtn bike races takes a lot of practice and with the mild seattle weather we're able to practice all winter long - well, as long as you are tough enough to ride in the cold rain! it's always a blast... here are a few shots of last night.

tonight adventure racing team dart-nuun's ryan vangorder, aaron rinn and matt hart are teaching "intro to compass navigation" at the rei flagship store in seattle. the class covers map and compass, how to set/take a bearing, declination and route finding strategies.

it will be a blast.. so come out and learn how to navigate!
